MK GEL DEEP-CYCLE BATTERIES are designed to provide maximum power and life for deep cycle applications. The MU-1 SLD G contains electrolyte that is permanently locked in a thixotropic gel, instead of conventional liquid acid, offering many significant advantages over traditional lead acid batteries.
Made by East Penn in the USA, the MU-1 SLD G requires no maintenance, eliminating the need to check liquid levels or add water and recharges substantially faster than lead acid batteries.
